Wow, this was my life a few years ago. Did you hear about Walmart being open for Black Friday on Thanksgiving night? People can't even be with their families on Thanksgiving because they are being forced to work. It's sad and depressing. Nice video and totally relate-able.
ReplyDeleteIt's unfortunate that people have to sacrifice time with their family because they are forced to work. Our economy is obsessed with consumerism. Giant retailers like WalMart and others have to try to stay ahead. Haven't you noticed that Thanksgiving has been completely ignored?
ReplyDeleteThis Xtranormal cartoon has some really great information. I used to work in retail and it was awful. I had never seen so much hateful women (the place I worked at was primarily marketed to women) fighting over products and were just down right rude. I just hate the whole idea of Black Friday, if you really want to play it smart, why not do your holiday shopping throughout the year!? I definitely do not want to deal with crowds at retail stores the day after Thanksgiving! Great cartoon, definitely sparks some debate!
